Welcome to Extreme English!
August 23, 2006
Welcome to Petaluma Junior High School and to 7th grade English class! I am Ms. Miller and will be your teacher this year....this is my third year at PJHS. Why are we called Extreme English? Well, our students are grouped by teams, which means that most (but not all) students who have me for English will have the same math teacher, history teacher, science teacher, etc. I am on Team Extreme, named by the students last year. Extreme English sounds a little more exciting than 7th Grade English, don't you think???
You can sign in to this blog to find out homework assignments and other important information about English class. You can also e-mail me if you need to know anything about a homework assignment. Please also tell your parents that the best way to reach me for a quick response is by e-mail. My e-mail is bigwords101@yahoo.com
HOMEWORK DUE THURSDAY (A DAY) AND FRIDAY (B DAY):
1. Please return signed parent letter for raffle ticket.
2. Return forms to your homeroom teacher.
3. Begin getting needed supplies for English class. You can buy notebooks from me for 10 cents or provide your own, but you need one for English class! You also a binder with a section for English, binder paper, pencils, erasers, and a couple of pens. A three-hole punch would be useful, but is not necessary.
