This homework is due on Thursday, Oct. 4 and Friday, Oct. 5:

Read chapter 3 of The Outsiders and do Activity A.

Study Vocabulary Lists 1 and 2 for a quiz on Thursday and Friday. You need to know the ten words on your pink vocabulary sheet including spelling, part of speech, definition, and how to use in a sentence. You should also be able to name a related word for those words that have them.

There will also be a "pop" quiz on nouns, adjectives, and pronouns. This will be open book, open notes.

Homework due Tuesday October 2 and Wednesday, Oct. 3

Begin studying Vocabulary Lists 1 and 2 for a quiz on Thursday and Friday. Those words include stereotype, rival, accommodate, accidentally, accumulate, conflict, narrator, bigot, acquaintance, and attendance. You need to know spelling, part of speech, related word if there are any (you just need to know one), definition, and how to use the word in a sentence.

Review what you know about adjectives!!

Kenilworth: Extra credit on the vocabulary quiz will be the words of the week. There are 6 from the first two weeks. You should have them written in your planner.
