Hand out literature books
Prefixes 10-18
Word of the Day: 4 and 6: aesthetic/ 5: acquire
Homework: Read Holt Literature (big book that you got today) pages 4-6 (about story plots) and the short story "Duffy's Jacket" on pages 7-11.
NOTE: I will be out September 8,10,12, and 16 for my daughter's wedding. The sub is an English teacher I have used many times before (as far as I know she will be the sub) , and she will be teaching the same lessons I would teach if I were there. I have left her all the details.
